ELVIS PRESLEY SIGNED NEWSPAPER 1960 A newspaper page from the armed forces newspaper Stars And Stripes inscribed by Elvis Presley in blue ballpoint ink. Written on a three-page article about Presley's imminent departure from the U.S. Army, the inscription reads "To Capt. And Mrs. Hood My Sincere best to you always (sic) "Why don't I get a haircut?" Sincerely Elvis Presley" in the lower right corner of the page. Presley had served two years in the Army, earning an honorable discharge on March 5, 1960, three days before this article was printed. 22 x 15¼ inches
