III, occasional marginal tears), 19th-century straight-grained crimson morocco, ruled and tooled in gilt, gilt inner dentelles, bookplate of Robert Hoe. [Willems 428: 'Cette édition de Pline, la seule que les Elzevier aient publiée, a été revue par Jean de Laet. Elle passe à bon droit pour un de leurs chefs-d'oeuvre. Les exemplaires bien conservés se trouvent difficilement'; Brunet IV, 716: 'Trés-joli édition'
