Greek and Latin text in double column; engraved frontispiece, engraved title vignette of Minerva and the Sheldonian Theatre by M. Burghers, and numerous woodcut diagrams in text. Folio, 385 x 238 mm. (15 3/16 x 9 5/16 in.), contemporary calf, joints cracked; a little dust-soiling on title, otherwise clean throughout. LARGE-PAPER COPY OF THE FIRST COMPLETE EDITION of Euclid in the original Greek with Latin translation. 750 copies were printed of which 250 were on large paper. Sotheran I, 1197; Honeyman II, 1042.
