A very interesting collection of still photos from various, mostly Russian silent films. The films include: "The End of St. Petersburg" (1927) directed by Vsevolod Pudovkin (17 photos); "Storm Over Asia" (1928) directed by Vsevolod Pudovkin, (12 photos); "The General Line" (Old and New) (1930) directed by Sergei Eisenstein (10 photos); "October: Ten Days that Shook the World" (1928) directed by Eisenstein, (9 photos + 1 Film-Kurier program); "Ivan the Terrible" (1944) directed by Sergei Eisenstein (9 photos) and "Grossstadt Nacht" 1932, directed by Fedor Ozep, (9 photos). – Some edge wear, some with oxidation mirroring in edges, some with soiling, many with pinholes in corners, some with fading, several in very good condition.
