Photographer: Artur Grimm (1908 - 1990). Set photos from the film "Die Spur führt nach Berlin" . 1952. 8 vintage ferrotyped gelatin silver prints, several on Agfa-Brovira paper. Each circa 17 x 24 cm. Each with photographer's stamp on the verso. The film "Die Spur führt nach Berlin" (1952) was shot on location in Berlin and a final showdown scene of the film takes place in the Reichstag ruins which were reminiscent of a film set. Artur Grimm was a major German reportage and PK (propaganda) photographer during the National Socialist regime. As of the early 1950s up until 1984 Grimm worked in Berlin as a still photographer for film and theater. – A few light handling marks, some small spots, otherwise in very good condition.
