Jacobs imprint to mat. (Some loss at center of image, case split, some rubbing to case extremities). Quarter plate ambrotype of a young gentleman wearing a dark suit and medal, his cheeks expertly tinted pink. E.[dward] Jacobs: New Orleans. In full pressed paper case with floral motif. Jacobs imprint to mat. (Glass would benefit from cleaning, else a fine image, case split, minor wear to case extremities).
