Five: Warrant Officer Class 1 J. H. Owen, East Kent Regiment and School of Musketry 1914 Star, with copy clasp (L-9029 Sjt., 1/E. Kent R.); British War and Victory Medals (9029 Sjt., E. Kent R.); Army L.S. & G.C., G.V.R., 2nd issue, fixed suspension (7718803 W.O. Cl. 1, C. of S.A. & M.G.S.); Army Meritorious Service Medal, G.V.R., 1st issue (685 Q.M. Sjt., S. of M.) last with correction to unit, mounted for wear, good very fine and better (5) £240-280 Footnote M.S.M. London Gazette 3 June 1919. Serjeant John H. Owen, 1st Battalion East Kent Regiment entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 7 September 1914. Later served as a Quartermaster Sergeant in the School of Musketry and Warrant Officer 1st Class in the Small Arms School. Awarded the M.S.M. for his wartime services and awarded the Army L.S. & G.C. by A.O. 150 of 1927. With copied m.i.c. - not entitled to clasp to 1914 Star.
