Gallantry. A collection of medals and badges to American Special Forces Officer 1st Lieutenant J.W. Clark, killed in action in South Vietnam 27 May 1969. United States of America, Silver Star with second award oakleaf, Bronze Star with "V" valour emblem and second award oakleaf, Purple Heart with second award oakleaf, National Defence Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Gallantry Cross, South Vietnam Service Star, first three medals officially machine engraved, presented in a modern glazed display case with related badges and riband bars, sold with copied research. 1st Lieutenant James. W. Clark, Special Forces was killed whilst serving in Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 7th Cavalry (Air Mobile), he previously served as a Long Range Penetration Patrol Commander, Clark was killed during his second tour of Vietnam.
