Date: 1953 Description: 5, [1] pp. With 5 diagram figures. 21x14 cm (8¼x5½"), pamphlet without wrappers, as issued. Very rare author's offprint of Watson and Crick's highly important second paper on DNA, in which they show the implications of DNA structure for genetic replication. Originally printed in Nature magazine, Vol. 171, no. 4361 (May 30, 1953). This paper is very much rarer than the first three paper offprints. OCLC/WorldCat lists only two copies of this offprint, at Indiana University and the University of British Columbia Library. With "341" inkstamp in upper right corner of first page. Lot Amendments Condition: Slightest creases to corners, else fine. Item number: 243201
