GEORGE BORROW (1803-1881) A 2-page autograph letter, signed, from Oulton, Lowestoft, May 13 1846, to Wilmot Marsh Esq., thanking him for a book and stating: "It appears to be singularly interesting both in a Biblical and philological point of view, and I promise myself the highest pleasure from an attentive perusal of it ... Bangor and Wrexham! ... I have never been at either, but certain parts of my early history are connected with the frontier of North Wales" (slightly creased on folds).
