Germaine Richier (1904-1959) Arthur Rimbaud, Une Saison en Enfer - Les Déserts de l'Amour - Les Illuminations, André Gonin, Lausanne, 1951 etchings with aquatint, 1951, on Auvergne handmade laid paper, watermark Fleur de lin, title, text and poems, justification, list of contents and the complete set 24, of which eight hors-text and sixteen en-text, with the suite on Japon Impérial, a cancelled copper plate of etching p. 116, and a drawing signed in pencil, the justification signed in pen and black ink by the artist and publisher, copy number K from the de luxe edition of twelve (there was also an edition of 118 and 20 hors commerce copies), with margins or printed to the edges of the full sheets as published, the title page with some discolouration, one or two occasional foxmarks in the text, one plate of the suite with a printer's crease in the left margin and a short ink stroke in the lower margin, another plate of the suite with a fold at the lower sheet edge (well away from the subject), otherwise generally in very good condition, loose in paper wrappers with author's name printed in red on front, within paper and vellum-covered boards with author's and publisher's names printed in red on spine, the boards generally in good condition(book) overall S. 405 x 300mm.
