Graham--Vintage 1948 Embossed wax capsules, damaged. No labels. Levels: five top, one mid/low-shoulder Tasting note: Two recent notes. First, a Christopher's, London bottling; not as deep as expected, ruddy, tawny; tangy, demerara sugar, very rich; very sweet, even for Graham, rich, attractive. Six months later, similar colour; highish volatile acidity; sweet, soft, lovely flavour, spicy finish. Last tasted Nov 2003. At best *****. M.B.
