Grignion after Bentley, some spotting and light toning, hinges reinforced, bookplate, contemporary mottled calf, rebacked, some edge wear, 4to, together with: Foulis Press. The Poetical Works of George Lord Lyttelton; The Poetical Works of James Hammond; The Poetical Works of Thomas Gray; The Poetical Works of William Collins together 4 works in one, Glasgow: Andrew Foulis, 1787, contemporary diced calf gilt, covers stamped with gilt arms, joints cracking, edges slightly rubbed, folio (Quantity: 2) First item: ESTC T122525. Second item: Provenance: John Bligh, 4th Earl of Darnley (1767-1831), his arms in gilt to covers. He succeeded his father in 1781 and was a Fellow of the Royal Society and of the Society of Antiquaries. The family seat was Cobham Hall, Kent until 1957.
