Jeffords; handwritten "Inventory of Camp and Garrison Equipage on Hand in 4th Michigan Regiment of Volunteer Infantry on the 6th Day if July 1868," Bancroft's discharge papers from the Michigan Volunteers in 1863; an eight-plate ambrotype of Bancroft as a young man; carte de visite of Bancroft in uniform; a tintype of Bancroft in middle age; copy of a group portrait of veterans of the 4th Michigan (original 1889); various later letters and papers.
