Group of Faberge Diamond, Ruby, 14 Kt. Gold & Guilloche Enameled Silver Mounted Nephrite Jade Articles;T/W Russian Garnet Mounted & Red Comprising a letter opener, oval trinket box and a garnet mounted and red and green guilloche enameled gilt silver bell-form diminutive inkwell; Together with a Russian Moonstone and 14 Kt. Gold Mounted Red Guilloche Enameled Nephrite Jade Pendant and a Footed Small Cup with Ring Handle. Length of letter opener 10 1/4 inches.
Please note: the correct listing for the Faberge pieces are as follows: Letter Opener, Oval Box, Inkwell #1. Faberge Letter Opener: there is a small chip / loss to the nephrite jade blade, not too far from the tip, otherwise appears to be in good condition; work master's initials AN #2. Faberge Oval Box; appears to be in good condition; work master's initials AN; the sides and base of the box are constructed of 2 pieces #3. Faberge Inkwell; there is an area of damage to the lower part of the red enamelling on the cover; there is no liner or insert in the inkwell, interior is nice and clean, work master's initial: HW. It appears this inkwell may in fact be an adaptation of a larger inkwell with a later gold base that was applied bearing Faberge hallmarks. However in our opinion the inkwell is Faberge. #4. Russian Pendant; appears to have a thin hairline fracture in the jade portion, which may simply be a natural vein and not a condition issue; there is an area of damage to the underside in the area of the red enamelling, approx extending 1/4/ inch #5.Russian Cup with ring handle, appears to be good condition, however the color of the jade on the foot is far lighter than the jade on the bowl, accordingly we feel it is a later replacement.
