Contemporary vellum, manuscript title on spine, speckled edges (wormholes, some scuffing and staining, head of spine chipped). Provenance : Turner Collection presented to University of Keele, 1968 (bookplate).

The author explains in detail the practice of building vaults and domes that made him justly famous. The Macclesfield copy contained 12 plates but the book is usually found with 11 as here.
