HAARDT, Georges-Marie and Louis AUDOUIN-DUBREUIL. Le raid Citroen. La première traversée du Sahara en automobile . Paris: Plon, 1924. 4°. 2 folding colour maps. Blue morocco with gilt title on spine and polychrome lozenge in the center of the covers, original wraps preserved (lightly rubber). Provenance: Ex libris of Vittorio Emanuele III, King of Italy (1869-1947) and Principessa Maria Gabriella di Savoia. A dedication by the two authors and André Citroen reads: "A Sa Majesté Victor-Emmanuel, Roi d'Italie, avec nos plus respectueux hommages". Together with an armorial bound copy of Jules Borrelli's Ethiopie Méridionale printed on Japon Imperial paper and dedicated by the author to Umberto I, King of Italy (1844-1900). (2)
