Erste Estienne-Ausgabe. - Renouard 131.3 - Adams S 1448 - Hoffmann III, 414 - Schreiber 171: The Greek text is followed by the commentary of Joachim Camerarius, and his Latin version of Ajax and Electra. In the preface Henri Estienne states that his forthcoming Greek 'Thesaurus' will cite the text of Sophokles after the page-reference of the present edition. He has again employed his peculiar system of diacritical notations. - Alter Stempel, mehrere Besitzvermerke, wenige Marginalien im Text, leicht braunfleckig und im hinteren Teil etwas feuchtrandig.
