Alpenländisch, wohl Raum Kärnten/Steiermark 1. Hälfte 17. Jh. Fruchtholz, vollrund geschnitzt, farbig gefasst, überwiegend mit alter Fassung, sowie Kupferblech. 2-tlg. Der Schutzpatron der Feuerwehr auf einer Rasenplinthe stehend und in einer zeitgenössischen Rüstung gekleidet. Er hält in seinen Händen die Attribute Fahne und Wassereimer, aus dem er Wasser auf ein brennendes Haus ausgießt. Altersspuren, vereinzelt Risse, Farbfehlstellen. Eine Hand und Löscheimer best., Fahne mit Fehlstellen.

Saint Florian with fire bucket and burning house
Alpine, probably region Carinthia/Styria first half 17th C. Carved fruit wood, painted in polychrome colours, mainly with old paint, as well as copper sheet. 2 pieces. Patron saint of the fire brigade, standing on a lawn plinth and dressed in a contemporary armour. In his hands he holds the attributes flag and fire bucket from which he pours water onto a burning house. Signs of age, occasional tears, paint loss. One hand and fire bucket chipped, flag with losses.
