[ Bound with :] HEINE, Heinrich. Atta Troll. Ein Sommernachtstraum , Hamburg: Hoffmann and Campe, 1847. 8°, 6-pages publisher's advertisments at end (lacking one preliminary leaf, lightly browned throughout). Another edition was published in Hamburg in the same year. This masterpiece of verse satire was directed against the German radicals of the 1830s, and was first published in part in Die Zeitung für die elegante Welt in 1843. Wilhelm-Galley 325. 2 works in one volume, contemporary boards, spine lettered and decorated in gilt (extremities lightly rubbed and chipped); early signature on endpaper.
