26 linoleum cut botanical prints on Japanese paper presented in publisher's portfolio with lino-cut title leaf and colophon leaf. Prints: 47.8x30.4 cm (18¾x12"); portfolio: 51x33.3 cm (20x13¼"). No. 16 of an edition limited to 50, 30 of which were sold as complete sets, the others being sold as individual prints. Each print pencil signed and titled by Henry Evans. A complete set of the signed proofs which were reproduced in reduced form and published by the Hunt Botanical Library of Pittsburgh in their edition of Walahid Strabo's Hortulus, the first European book on horticulture.
