A US standard during much of the Korean and Vietnam Wars, this is an example of the US M26 grenade series. Never filled, with gentle persuasion the base plug pops off and interior is observed to be immaculate with the cap liner and fragmentation coil in new condition. The grenade is complete and appears to be either a training /display item or was removed from the assembly line before filling. The grenade is unmarked, the body is in excellent condition with the paint judged as fine.
