Title: History and reports on the property of the Candelaria Consolidated Mexico Mining Company Author: [Burns, Daniel M.] Place: [San Francisco] Publisher: Date: 1890 Description: 36 pp. 26x18 cm (10¼x7"), printed wrappers. The Candelaria Consolidated Mexico Mining Company was a silver mine dating back to the 18th century, but in the early 1880's a group of San Francisco financiers headed by Daniel Burns drained the flooded mine, and reopened it with great success. The present volume describes the mining property, its history and prospects for the future. OCLC/WorldCat lists only two copies, at the University of California Berkeley, and the U.S. Geological Survey National Center in Virginia. Lot Amendments Condition: Some foxing and soiling to wrappers, very good. Item number: 283302
