Beautiful facsimile of William Blake's Illustrations of the Book of Job, with rich coloring. Appears to be a facsimile of two different copies, with the title-page and at least some of the other plates present in two versions. Included with this lot is a photocopy of the prospectus for the 1987 William Blake Trust edition "Colour versions of William Blake's Book of Job designs". It makes a note that "A small number of the plates was sold separately by the Trianon Press at the exhibition 'William Blake's Illustrations for the Book of Job: The Making of a Facsimile' held at the Victoria and Albert, 1976. These were issued without text and accompanying matter and are out of series with the present publication". These would be those plates. Lot Amendments Condition: Second title-page with mild marginal spotting; else fine. Item number: 154288
