In 1972 Presley began to study Tae Kwon Do in Memphis with Kang Rhee, who soon became a part of Elvis's entourage. This bible was inscribed to Rhee and his wife by Elvis during a visit to Graceland, and is a remarkable association piece connecting two great passions of Presley's life.
