IRON AGE SASSANIAN SILVER DISH Circa 4th-5th century AD. A shallow dish with applied foot ring; the centre of the bowl depicting a repoussé and chased bird with spread wings, standing on an antelope. Silver, 145 grams, 15 cm diameter. Very fine condition, with surface deposits. Provenance Acquired on the London art market in the 1960's.
