Text in Greek and Latin, title in red and black with woodcut device, with the final errata leaf (small inkstain on title, occasional very light browning). Contemporary calf, gilt ornaments in panels of spine, blindstamped border round sides, gilt oval ornament at centre (rather worn, head of spine repaired). Provenance : the Jesuits at Courtrai (17th-century inscription on title); Charles Jacomb (bookplate). Late 17th-century English panelled calf (rebacked, rubbed). Provenance : contemporary, and mostly deleted, ownership inscription on title; Edward Davies Rector of Llanwryn, 1746 (inscription on a pasted in slip). An uncommon edition dedicated by Vives to Henry VIII; and 5 others similar.
