Purdey & Sons A FINE PAIR OF LIGHTWEIGHT 20-BORE KEN HUNT ENGRAVED SELF-OPENING SIDELOCK EJECTOR GUNS, NOS. 28114/5 27 1/2-inch chopper-lump barrels with 2 3/4-inch chambers about 1/2 and full choke borings, the frames, locks and gold numbered top-levers engraved with bold foliate scrollwork surrounding highly detailed gold inlaid game scenes, the right lock of the No. 1 gun with a pair of duck against a wetland scene, the left lock with a pair of pheasants against a countryside scene, the right lock of the No. 2 gun with a pair of grouse against a moorland scene, the left lock with a pair of woodcock against a cloudy sky, signed by the engraver, K. C. Hunt 76, retaining much of their original hardening colour overall, 15-inch highly figured stocks, nitro proof, in their maker's lightweight leather case 5lb. 8oz.
