Included is a light card stock poster, 11 x 14 in., with For Congress, Gene Siler, Republican Primary, August 7, 1954. This was Siler's first run for national office, although he had run unsuccessfully for the office of Governor. He served in the House from 1955 to 1964. He would certainly have encountered the Kennedys around Washington. Condition: Slight damage to Siler poster in u.r. corner. Overall very good. Photo of Jackie is very good to excellent. Has been in a frame for a period of time (removed from frame for examination).
