John Marin (American, 1870-1953) Small Point, Maine Signed and dated "Marin 22" l.r., identified on labels from Marlborough-Gerson Gallery, Kennedy Galleries, Inc., and Sid Deutsch Gallery, all New York, and Owings-Dewey Fine Art, Santa Fe, all affixed to an encapsulated mat board on the frame backing paper. Watercolor on paper, 26 3/4 x 21 3/4 in. (67.9 x 55.2 cm), framed. Condition: Minor toning, tack holes to corners, subtle rippling, not examined out of frame.
