The author of the relief is craft metal founder and chaser Karel Pešan, the brother of sculptor and carver Damian Pešan. Both brothers significantly contributed to decorating Josip Plečnik's Church of the Most Sacred Heart of Our Lord. Stained wood, patinated and polished copper, marked "K.Pešan" on lower left.
