KEULEN, Gerard van (1678-1727). Insulae Iavae Pars Occidentalis Edente Hadriano Relando , and Insulae Iavae Pars Orientalis Edente Hadriano Relando . Amsterdam: [1728]. Engraved hand-coloured chart on four joined sheets of laid paper (536 x 1209 mm.), with narrow margins. The chart covers Java and immediate islands from the extremities of Sumatra to Bali, ten decorated compass roses, rhumblines, decorative armorial dedication cartouche. (With the usual vertical folds, minor water stain in right centre, minor surface dirt, the margins with small defects not affecting the image, very few minor defects, generally in excellent condition.)
