Contemporary calf, blind stamped with central arabesque medallion within a roll tooled border, "Model Buch" stamped in gilt dated "1603" on upper cover, silk ties, gilt edges (light staining and minor worming). Provenance : Carl J. Ulmann (bookplate). Second edition of this very rare lace book, with excellent impressions of the engravings in a fine contemporary binding.
