LARGE LOT OF US WWI-WWII AND MISCELLANEOUS FIELD GEAR

Lot consists of: (A) Mixed lot of World War I - World War II field gear and miscellaneous equipment. The lot includes a World War I 1916 dated Springfield bayonet and theater made World War II thick-handled fighting knife with scabbard. The knives both exhibit wear including pitting and oxidation. There are also 2 leather M1916 holsters, one is unmarked while the other is marked "TEXTAN". Both exhibit typical wear and creasing. There are several gauges, including 1 aircraft altimeter. Other items include a pre-World War I US Army web belt with M-1910 US garrison officer's 2-piece belt buckle, gas mask bag with boy scout mess kit, compass, German cigar box with US address which was most likely used to send home captured souvenirs, and pair of World War II signal flags. CONDITION: All gear exhibits typical wear. Overall fair to very good. JLD
