[20] pp. Illustrated from photographs. 30.5x22.8 cm (12x9"), color pictorial wrappers. Printed program for Irving Granz Presents “Jazz Ala Carte, 1960” with a full-page biographic feature and a full-page photograph of the added performer Lenny Bruce ("The Sick One"). “…With his energy and drive and God given talents, the name Lenny Bruce is rapidly becoming a household word.” Additional articles and full-page photos for the other acts: Sonny Stitt, Cal Tjader, Lambert Hendricks and Ross, Terry Gibbs Quartet, and Billy Eckstein. There are also ads for upcoming San Francisco performances by Sonny Rollins, Red Garland, J.J. Johnson, George Shearing, Thelonious Monk, Oscar Peterson, and Miles Davis. There is a full page ad inside back cover for Bruce’s three Fantasy Records albums. This was found in Bruce’s papers, but no indicia of his ownership on the document itself. No copies are listed in OCLC/WorldCat.
