After WWI, he undertook together with the Chafetz Chaim to save the yeshivot from their difficult predicament, and they together founded the Vaad HaYeshivot. In that period, following the Communist takeover, he worked extensively together with the Rayatz of Lubavitch and the Chafetz Chaim to rescue Russian Jewry and Jews worldwide. Postcard. 14.5X10.5 cm. Good-fair condition. Stains and wear. Written by a scribe, apart from the concluding word and signature, which are handwritten by R. Chaim Ozer.
