Sincerely yours, Jack London, Glen Ellen, Calif. Feb. 28, 1913." A letter to Fred Lockley mentions: "The two enclosed letters signed by me, will give you the names of the men who hold the heads [those he'd been trying to get out of Oregon], and the number of heads each man is holding. Joe Wharton holds two heads for me, at Grant's Pass, and P.D. Johns holds six heads for me at Glendale...
