Lot consists of: (A) Small stainless steel caping knife with a full length, tapered tang and maker's etch of "Smith Handcrafted Knives" set within an outline of South Carolina. Red stag handles with red liners, held in place with nickel silver pins. Stainless steel bolsters w/integral guard. No sheath. CONDITION: Blade has been resharpened. Stag scales have shrunk slightly, resulting in one small, stable crack. (B) Medium-sized stainless steel drop point hunter with maker's etch of "Smith Handcrafted Knives" set within an outline of South Carolina. Full length, tapered tang with ram's horn scales red liners, held in place with mosaic pins. Original high quality hand stitched leather sheath included. CONDITION: Unused, with light shrinkage of the handles. Ralph Smith of Taylors, South Carolina has been making knives for over 45 years. A founding member of the South Carolina Association of Knifemakers ("SCAK"), Mr. Smith's knives consistently showcase his years of skill and dedication to his craft.
