LOT OF 4: GERMAN WORLD WAR II HEER INFANTRY OFFICER COMPLETE DRESS UNIFORM.

Lot contains: (A) Heer Hauptmann infantry dress tunic, (B) Heer infantry officer visor cap, (C) Heer infantry officer dress trousers, and (D) Heer officer bullion dress belt with buckle. (A) Pre-war dress tunic to an infantry Hauptmann made from a very high quality Feldgrau wool with no visible damage other than a 1/4" moth hole on the left sleeve middle, three tiny 1/4" repairs on the right shoulder, the lower right panel, and under the collar on the back. A bullion officer eagle is tailor applied on the right breast, and infantry officer bullion collar tabs are machine sewn to the dark green wool collar. The infantry officer shoulder boards with two gilt rank pips, and gilt ciphers to the 40th Infantry Regiment, are era sewn into the shoulders. An officer silver bullion adjutant aiguillette is attached to the right shoulder. Four infantry officer silver bullion cuff tabs with buttons are present, and one button is loose. Eight buttons secure the tunic and all appear to have been era applied. Six buttons are on the tails. A War Merit Cross ribbon is era sewn to the tunic, and there are two sets of era sewn award loops, and a set of of loops for a ribbon bar. Tunic is lined in a light green rayon liner, which does not have a tailor label. CONDITION: Near mint. (B) Infantry officer visor cap made in a high quality Feldgrau wool with a couple of tiny moth nips to its top, and a dark green wool center band which appears to be undamaged. The white piping is intact with some age staining. The Heer officer nickel plated tombac eagle, wreath, and cockade are undamaged. The eagle has been moved at some point and is loose. The black vulkanfibre visor presents some very light wear and almost indistinguishable crazing, with the underside in a light brown crosshatch pattern. The officer bullion chin cord is attached and undamaged. The interior is fully lined in a light golden-brown rayon with moderate staining. The sweat shield is present and marked "Sonderklasse". The light brown leather sweatband is detached about five inches in the back, with uniform moderate wear and staining. There is a quarter inch hole on the left side behind the chin cord button. CONDITION: Very good to excellent overall. (C) Heer infantry officer trousers in a ribbed Feldgrau wool with no visible damage and very light wear. Both sets of leather straps with a steel buttons are present on the cuffs, and inside the front buckle strap there is a tailor label to "J. Eder & Sohn, Nurnerberg, Herr..." with a handwritten Lieutenant's name. CONDITION: Excellent plus. (D) Heer officer bullion dress belt 43" long, and with an "Assmann" marked aluminum officer buckle. Belt is lined in a dark green velvet. CONDITION: Excellent to near mint. WZ
