Beschreibung:

(A) The 1933 Pattern SA Marine Cap Badge has a gold bullion wreath embroidered on a dark wool background. A nickel silver SA eagle is pinned through the center of the wreath utilizing two prongs. The gold bullion and eagle have a nice even patina throughout. The backing paper has been removed. CONDITION: Very Good. (B) The Second Pattern SA Marine Cap Badge has a gold bullion wreath embroidered on a dark wool background. A nickel silver SA eagle is pinned through the center of the wreath utilizing two prongs. The gold bullion and eagle have a nice even patina throughout. Evidence of additional holes in the reverse of the insignia suggests the center eagle may be a replacement. CONDITION: Very Good. (C) The smaller Third Pattern SA Marine Cap Badge has a gold bullion wreath with center SA emblem. The emblem and gold bullion wreath have an even patina throughout. The reverse of the insignia is maker stamped in white ink, but the writing is illegible. CONDITION: Excellent. (D) The larger Third Pattern SA Marine Cap Badge has a gold bullion wreath with center SA emblem. Both the gold bullion wreath and SA emblem show even patina throughout. CONDITION: Excellent. (E) The Waterways Protection Police Insignia has a gold washed zinc eagle emblem over top of a gold bullion wreath. The eagle emblem's right wing is broken, but the rear prong still hold it to the badge. The gold bullion has even patina buildup. (F) The SA Marinetag Tinnie is made of brass and has an even patina throughout. The rear pin is originally attached to the badge. CONDITION: Near Mint. (G) The silver SA Marine Badge is Mae of nickel silver brass which has developed an even patina throughout. The rear attachment hardware is originally attached to the badge. The maker of the badge is "Sieper and Sohne". A nickel silver anchor is soldered to the front of the badge, and exhibits the same patina as the rest of the badge. The SA Marine Sport Badge badge is highly controversial in the collecting community. CONDITION: Excellent. D.W. Item Dimensions: 14 - 1/2" x 8" x 1 - 1/2". Name Value Paperwork
