Factory display cased Colt Colt Government Model shipped 1984. Style "D" engraved with blue finish, Colt Custom Shop walnut grips with ivory inset and medallions. Shipped to Sloan's Sporting Goods Company, Ridgefield, Connecticut, January 19 , 1984. Cased in Colt velvet lined display box. Factory marked under left grips "COLT ENGR". CONDITION: As shipped from factory and possibly unfired. No wear is evident on finish. Grips are equally fine as are mechanic. Display box is slightly edge worn at corners and velvet is stained from pistol residing in box. Style "D" is the least common pattern to be found and is the most extensive amount of embellishment offered from Colt's factory Custom shop. Accompanied by a copy of the 2015 dated factory letter.
