Lot consists of (A) Remington Model 870 Wingmaster slide action shotgun. Made 1982. Standard markings on the barrel, and on the left side of the frame. Right side of the metal stock is marked "FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT ONLY". Round steel barrel with bead front sight. Factory blued finish. Top folding metal stock and oil finished wood forearm. Plastic pistol grip. Cylinder choke bore with a 2 - 3/4" chamber. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its original finish with general handling marks and wear. There is some light surface rust on the stock. Stock and pistol grip have light wear. Bore is shiny. Mechanically fine. (B) Remington Model 870 Wingmaster slide action shotgun. Made late 1970s. This looks to be an ex-police department gun, with a large "44490" added serial number on the left side of the frame. Standard markings on the barrel, and on the left side of the frame. Round steel barrel with bead front sight. Factory blued finish. Wood stock and forearm have a light oil finish. Rubber butt pad is "Remington" marked. Cylinder choke bore with a 2 - 3/4" chamber. CONDITION: Metal retains 85% of its original finish with light wear and handling marks. Wood has a few handling marks. Bore is shiny. Mechanically fine.
