Goelet in the Brig Twins in January 1810, bottled in September 1816, P. Goelet, decanted Jan 1885 by William H Fearing', slip label below main label states 'Recorked April 16th 1919', other bottles missing main label, 2 have similar slip labels, the last has a vertical typed not printed slip label stating 'Recorked April 10th 1919', all with missing capsules and exposed corks. 1 bottle has original very shrunken cork taped inside punt of bottle. The Goelets were an important family in 19th Century New York, and were collectors of Madeira.
