Maharaja Sawai Madho Singh II of Jaipur was the adopted son of Maharaja Sawai Ram Singh and during his reign, Jaipur progressed in the fields of literature, archeology, arts, education, newspapers, census reports, public works, medicine and judiciary. Under his patronage many important books were published and various newspapers were launched in Hindi, English and Urdu in Jaipur State. – Slight edge wear, otherwise in very good condition.
