Detailed along the east coast and Great Lakes, including fisheries in the ocean. Copied from Delisle, this was one of the most accurate depictions of the Great Lakes at that time. Large inset with "Remarque Historique" gives the story of the discovery of Canada by fishermen from Brittany in 1504, along with the accounts of other explorers. Text in French.
