Original leather backed boards with "Acts of Assembly/November Session 1773" penned on the upper cover in a contemporary hand, housed in a folding case. 13 1/2 x 9 inches (34.5 x 23 cm); pi1 7L-8K(2) [8L]1. Rubbing and small losses to binding but generally sound, without blanks, some old faint dampstaining, stamps. The laws in this volume deal mostly with tobacco. In 1767, Anne Catherine Green took over the printing business of her husband, Jonas, which included the Maryland Gazette as well as the official assembly printings. Evans 13397.
