L'Art de Procreer les Sexes a Volonte ou Systeme Complet de Generation. Chex L'Auteur [et] Chez Migneret: An IX (1800.) xvi, 387 pp. Illustrated with 6 plates, 4 of which are folding. Deveze, Jean. Dissertation sur la Fievre Jaune, Qui regna a Philadelphie en 1793, depuis le mois d'Aout, jusques vers le milieu du mois de Decembre. Imprimerie de Madame Huzard: An XII [1803/1804]. 96 pp. Two interesting French medical texts, including Millot's treatise on procreation, notable for its six engraved plates, five of which depict medical anomalies, mostly conjoined twins, and a dissertation by Dr. Deveze concerning the 1793 and 1797 Yellow Fever epidemics in Philadelphia. Lot Amendments Condition: Both covers nearly detached and very tender, spine leather peeling off, extremities rubbed; internal foxing and offsetting, some ill creasing to plates; overall good.
