Damascus is at the bottom of the map and Edessa (Sanliurfa) is at the top, engraving with hand-colouring, on laid paper, sheet 445 x 525 mm. (17 1/2 x 20 5/8 in), mounted on very thin paper support, several splits and nicks expertly repaired, some surface dirt, unframed, [circa 1640].
