Wohl Italien 17. Jh. Bronze, dunkelbraun patiniert. Leicht ausgestellte, flache Basis, zylindrischer Korpus, leicht ausgestellte Lippe und zwei ohrenförmige Handhaben. Auf der Wandung mit Wappenrelief und Vögeln dekoriert sowie unter dem Lippenrand ein undeutliches Schriftband. Zweifach profilierter, konischer Pistill. Altersspuren. Pistill mit vereinzelt grünlicher Alterspatina.

Mortar with coat of arms and pestle
Probably Italy circa 17th C. Bronze, dark brown patinated. Slightly flared base, cylindrical body, slightly flared rim and two ear-shaped handles. Wall decorated with coat of arms reliefs and birds as well as indistinctly inscribed on a band below the rim. Double profiled, conical pestle. Signs of age. Pestle with isolated greenish, age-related patina.
