Bilder aus dem Altjudischen Familienleben, nach Originalgemalden von Prof. Moritz Oppenheim. Frankfurt am Main: Heinrich Keller 1868. 2nd edition. German. "Pictures of a Jewish Family Life", a dozen reproductions of paintings by Moritz Oppenheim, depicting a Jewish-German family and its customs (Sabbath, Bar Mitzvah, a wedding, and more). Titled in the plate, in German. With [4] introduction pages by Leopold Stein. Following the twelve plates, additional plates are bound with reproductions of important paintings: "Minyan" ["Jahrzeit"], scene from the Prussia-France war in 1870-1871, after a painting by Moritz Oppenheim; soldiers praying in bunkers, during the Prussia-France war, 1870, after a painting by Herman Junker; 13 engraving-plates from Bernard Picart's book (one folded plate); two engravings depicting the Portuguese congregation in Amsterdam; engraving of the interior of "Sha'ar HaShamayim" synagogue, London, with (printed) invitation in honor of David Suleiman Sassoon, to a ceremony celebrating two hundred years since the inauguration of the synagogue.
